SSL Security and encryption
All SEOshop webshops operate via secure data storage. The data storage unit operates from a secure connection with a 256bit SSL certificate. All private data exchange between webshop and database is encrypted. Personal details, payment details and other private customer information are sent as encrypted text. Customer passwords are stored encrypted.Backups are made of all SEOshop data on an external server every 24 hours. Our servers are equipped with so-called raid controllers, which means the servers contain several hard disks mirroring each other; the data are stored four times on four individual hard disks. In the event of a hard disk crash, the system will automatically switch over to the spare hard disk. SEOshop has servers at several locations. As a SEOshop customer, you take advantage of the professional server infrastructure which makes sure that your webshop is online. During 2008, SEOshop managed to realise 100% uptime.
